ALPINE FARMS RIDING SCHOOL

Alpine Farms is the pinnacle for the Minnesota Hunter/Jumper and Dressage equestrian community. Steeped in tradition, Alpine Farms has produced riders that have competed at USEF Pony Finals, Harrisburg, Young Riders, Zone Finals, USEF Finals, and much more. Our instructor are energetic and knowledgeable riders who have many years of teaching and riding experience. Our school horses are healthy and have extensive, successful show records. Whether you are looking for an afternoon of fun or a serious/intense lesson we can fill your need. We developed our program to fit your needs as an aspiring rider. There are also opportunities for Alpine Farm Riding School students to participate in schooling shows as well as recognized USEF shows.

Alpine Farms can teach you how to groom and tack up the horse, or the horse can be ready and waiting for you and taken care of after the lesson for a fee of $10 per horse/lesson, if you're short on time.

Riders need to come dressed in breeches, proper foot wear such as paddock boots with half/full chaps or tall boots, and a helmet that is ASTM and SEI certified. These can be found at the local tack stores Stoneridge Equestrian or Harley-Woodward.

The Little Yearling Lead Line Lesson is designed for the youngest of horse enthusiasts between the ages of 4 to 6 years old, and introduces your youngster to the wonderful world of ponies. The lesson will entail learning to groom and work around the pony as well as learning all of the equipment used to tack up and ride the pony and then the best of all...Riding! Ponies are typically led by the instructor when the child is riding. Once the child is proficient in rider balance, steering, stopping and speed control of the pony, he/she will be graduated into the regular lesson program!

We offer:
